A letter of thanks

To those who stood beside me while I found my way back to myself.

The Narcissistic Abuse Project carries pieces of everything I have learned and everyone who has helped me along the way. I am deeply grateful to the people who listened, offered guidance, and reminded me of my strength when I struggled to see it for myself.

With deep appreciation,

First, to God: thank you for sustaining me through uncertainty and giving me the faith to keep moving forward, even when I could not see what came next.

To my closest friends and family: thank you for staying beside me, for your patience, and for the love that gave me room to find my way. Your presence and encouragement have meant more than I can put into words.

Thank you to David L. You listened to me week after week, giving me a space to be heard, and I am forever grateful.

To my primary care physician: thank you for your care and for supporting my well-being along this path.

Thank you to Kyle Richardson. You helped me get this website up and running—without you, this website would not be here.

Thank you to Jerod Williams. You were the springboard that helped me find the courage to leave, and I am forever grateful.

To the teachers and mentors who shaped my understanding of yoga, meditation, fitness, and the healing arts: thank you for the practices and wisdom I could return to when I needed them most. Those lessons continue to influence both my life and this project.

Thank you to The Gym owners. You create a space where someone experiencing abuse can move, find strength, and release what they are carrying inside.

And to everyone who shares a story, supports this project, or wears a piece of the collection: thank you for helping this vision grow. My hope is that you find something here that makes you feel seen, connected, and empowered to express what you have always wanted to say.

With love and gratitude,

Georgia Zafferes
